What is the best book or DVD for training a puppy?

I don’t want something simplistic, I’ve raised several dogs. I want a good solid method for gentle training that gets into advanced obedience.

Dog training is not magic. It can be very simple. If you know learning theory then you are on your way.

Have you tried “The Power of Positive Training” by Pat Miller. Great for basic behaviors.

When things get a little crazy and stormy it is amazing what turning off the TV, finding a quiet place, and reading Gods word can do. This is a book that makes forming a Biblical attitude in life a bit easier. The book is laid out the way I structured my study time when I was younger. If we can include in every day a thought about God and His word, every day will be that much better and Im only asking for a minute (or so).
